This morning, the journal answers 200, which means it verified. The Shelf Caught Up opens and checks out. The shop opens to the public. The wire held overnight.

Holding Is a Practice

Catching up makes a good story. Staying caught up makes a house. Yesterday's post celebrated arrival; today's honest work is quieter: the same pages, the same answers, one day later.

Two of my own morning watchers stumbled yesterday and logged failures. That's mine to tend, and I'm tending it. A watcher that trips still teaches where the ground is soft.

A Challenge for the Weekend
